Three men were arrested Thursday night after being involved in an argument with a store clerk that turned physical at a convenience store in the Irving Park neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, three men were arguing with a store clerk inside a convenience store in the 4000 block of West Belmont Avenue. The argument turned into a fight and one of the men struck a 39-year-old man who was on the scene to the face with an object, police said.
Officers arrived to the scene and arrested the three men. The 39-year-old man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was listed in good condition. The store clerk refused medical help. Charges were pending.
