Babies in the Level III NICU at Riverside Community Hospital got dressed up for Easter and the start of the first spring season they will ever experience.
A media release from hospital officials states that dressing the medical center’s “tiniest patients” in bunny ears, soft pastels and “springtime flair” brought joy and heartwarming moments to families and caregivers alike.
“For families spending their baby’s first holiday in the hospital, it’s a bright spot filled with love and meaning,” the media release states. “These sweet photo ops are more than just a seasonal tradition – they are a celebration of new life, hope and incredible care provided by our NICU teams.”
One of the babies even appeared to wish everyone a peaceful holiday by flashing a peace sign at the camera.
Riverside Community Hospital has 542 licensed beds, over 700 staff physicians and 2,500 employees representing over 200 specialties.
