National Weather Service officials said it was a slight chance of showers Saturday afternoon and a chance of showers and thunderstorms by this evening.
Officials said there was a 40 percent chance of showers after 3 p.m. Saturday, and a chance of showers and thunderstorms by the night hours.
Officials are expecting temperatures to reach 70 degrees in Chicago and surrounding areas. Officials warned it could be fog in portions of the Chicago area, as well as wind gusts up to 25 mph.
Current mid-day conditions at O’Hare Airport is overcast at 66 degrees. Farther south at Midway Airport are mostly cloudy at 66 degrees.
