A MAN has died after being attacked and left in the street – with six arrests made.
The victim, 30, was found by police at around 4.15am on Tuesday (November 25) in Worcester and rushed to hospital.
Five men were initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the incident on Barbourne Road.
A sixth man was then detained later the same day.
Detective Chief Inspector Lee Holehouse, said: “First and foremost, our thoughts are with the family and friends of the victim.
“I know this incident has shocked the local community.
“I’d like to reassure you that we’re working hard and at pace to understand what happened yesterday, and that at this stage there is nothing to suggest any wider risk to the public.
“A scene guard remains in place on Barbourne Road while we collect evidence and carry out enquiries, and you’ll continue to see an increased police presence in the area throughout today.”
