In harrowing footage, Kelly Yu takes a couple of woozy steps before doubling over after performing her hit song Original Sin.
Her bandmates look on in confusion, as the Canadian singer-songwriter crouches with her back to the audience.
A crew member can then be seen running from backstage into the spotlight to see if Kelly is OK.
She collapses in his arms and he carefully lowers her to the ground before he runs off to get help.
Her bandmates ditch their instruments and rush to her aid before the stage goes black.
The star reportedly lost consciousness during the ordeal and more crew members with umbrellas came onstage to try to give her some privacy from the thousands of fans watching on.
Witnesses said Kelly showed visible signs of exhaustion during her performance at the festival in Guizhou, China on February 1.
The 36-year-old was taken to hospital for emergency tests.
Kelly, who was raised in Vancouver, remains under observation in hospital.
She was reportedly suffering from fatigue and is expected to make a full recovery.
Her team said she performed a concert in Shenzhen the day before and had to rush to Guizhou for the festival.
They said the sharp change in temperature, combined with lack of sleep, led to her fainting on stage.
A spokesperson added that she “is not in any immediate danger and is still under observation in hospital”.
Kelly found fame as an actress in the 2017 Chinese romcom The Ex-File 3: The Return of the Exes.
She is also known for her appearance on season three of the reality show Sisters Who Make Waves.
Kelly went on to appear in Roland Emmerich’s sci-fi disaster film Moonfall alongside Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson in 2022.
She has recorded six studio albums in her career, with her most recent, Scorpio, released in 2024.
It comes after pop star Lola Young collapsed during a gig in New York last year, sparking the end of her tour.
The performer shocked concert-goers when she plummeted to the ground on stage just a week after releasing her debut album amid mixed critical reviews.
Without going into detail, Lola confirmed in a statement that she would be walking away from showbiz for the “foreseeable future”.
In a statement shared on social media, the star said: “I’m going away for a while.
“It pains me to say I have to cancel everything for the foreseeable future.
“Thank you for all the love and support. I’m so sorry to let anyone down who has bought a ticket to see me, it hurts me more than you know.
