Investigators in San Bernardino County are searching for more possible victims of a 36-year-old high school assistant arrested recently on suspicion of child sex crimes, authorities announced Tuesday.
Detectives learned about and investigated allegations of inappropriate conduct with a minor by a bilingual assistant at Oak Hills High School in Hesperia in December of last year, the Sheriff’s Department stated.
Specialized Investigations Division – Crimes Against Children Detail later identified Chantalle Jaramillo as a suspect in the case.
The Sheriff’s Department did not provide details about the crimes but Jaramillo was arrested and booked on suspicion of contacting a minor to commit a sex act, oral copulation of a person under 18 years and unlawful sex with a minor three or more years younger than the defendant.

Jaramillo was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
Authorities released Jaramillo’s image because they believe there may be additional victims.
Anyone with information regarding this incident or who believes they were victimized by Jaramillo was asked to contact Detective Katie Merrill at 909-890-4904. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call the We-Tip Hotline at 800-782-7463 or leave information on the We-Tip website.
