A tractor-trailer hauling wood crashed into a sound wall and overturned along the eastbound 210 Freeway in Arcadia early Friday morning, temporarily trapping its driver.
The crash, which occurred around 2:28 a.m. near the Baldwin Avenue exit, left debris scattered across the Foothill Freeway.
Firefighters responded to the scene and rescued the big rig driver, who was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
Footage from Key News Network showed the semi-trailer appeared totaled.
A man in a wheelchair and his wife, who were driving to an emergency, crashed into debris, Key News reported.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
