How’s this for a Valentine’s Day present?
Paramount+ today dropped the trailer for the third season of Yellowjackets that’ll have its global premiere on February 14, 2025. The Showtime series shared the teaser during Saturday’s Paramount+ panel at CCXP in Brazil featuring cast members Sophie Nélisse (Shauna), Sophie Thatcher (Natalie) Jasmin Savoy Brown (Taissa), Courtney Eaton (Lottie) and Kevin Alves (Travis).
The trailer suggests a life-altering hunt is about to begin in the forest where the soccer team’s plane crash landed. There’s lots of talk about “how this place will follow us for the rest of our lives” and how time was, ahem, wasted over not eating certain girls sooner. Listen for lots of howling, too.
As previously announced, Hilary Swank (Million Dollar Baby) will join the cast this season, along with Joel McHale (Community). The rest of the ensemble includes Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Lauren Ambrose, Nélisse, Brown, Eaton, Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Liv Hewson, Steven Krueger, Warren Kole, Alves, Sarah Desjardins and Simone Kessell, with Elijah Wood returning in a recurring role.
Yellowjackets is executive produced by Ashley Lyle, Bart Nickerson and fellow showrunner Jonathan Lisco. Drew Comins of Creative Engine also serves as executive producer along with Jeff W. Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa and Brad Van Arragon. The series is produced for Showtime by Lionsgate Television and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of Paramount+ markets.
