Villagers and visitors from across the galaxy are invited to the Season of the Force celebration at Disneyland, including new foods, themed merchandise, a new nighttime experience in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the debut of a new Star Wars character, and more.
Here’s what Star Wars fans can expect from Season of the Force celebration:
On select nights, guests in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be able to enjoy “Fire of the Rising Moons,” a nighttime experience that debuts a different view of the stunning Disneyland Park fireworks display with musical accompaniment. (Christian Thompson/Disneyland Resort)
A new nightly projection show, “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga,” will debut on March 28 in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. The new show will “transform the spires of Batuu near the Millennium Falcon, evoking memories of some of the greatest moments in galactic history,” all set to an iconic musical score comprised of familiar themes heard throughout the films of the Skywalker saga.
Rumors across the galaxy say that Luke Skywalker will appear at Batuu for a limited time.
“Fire of the Rising Moons,” a nighttime experience that showcases a different view of the Disneyland Park fireworks display, will continue and include selections from composer John Williams’ Star Wars film scores.
The fan-favorite Star Wars-themed overlay for Space Mountain, Hyperspace Mountain, will be returning.
Adventures inspired by Disney+ series, like “Ahsoka,” “Andor” and “The Mandalorian,” will also be available at the “Star Tours- The Adventures Continue” attraction at Disneyland. Guests can enjoy over 250 storyline variations aboard the attraction.
A brand-new storyline is coming to Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers beginning on May 4. Guests will be able to build their own Lightsabers from scraps that have been scavenged by different pirates throughout the galaxy and made their way to Batuu.
