The Savannah Bananas, known as the Harlem Globetrotters of Baseball, will bring their high-energy antics to the Happiest Place on Earth for a one-day-only event on May 28.
Fans can catch the Savannah Bananas in a themed cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A., and join in on a dance number to “Hey Baby” in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Guests will also find a variety of limited-time banana-inspired treats across both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Fans can get a banana split at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, a banana pudding at Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, a Banana Split Churro near Goofy’s Sky School, and a Banoffee Pie Cold Brew at the Cappuccino Cart
The announcement was made during Mickey Mouse’s surprise appearance at one of the team’s home games in Savannah, Georgia.
The Bananas’ Disneyland appearance comes just ahead of their two road games against the Firefighters at Angel Stadium on May 30 and 31.
Tickets to the games are sold out, but fans can watch the action on Disney+ and ESPN+.
The Savannah Bananas are known for playing “Banana Ball,” an altered set of baseball rules that heavily emphasize entertainment and fan interaction.
