San Bernardino police continue search for teen's killer

The San Bernardino Police Department is continuing to ask for the public’s help in tracking down a shooter who killed an 18-year-old nearly two years ago.

The Sept. 4, 2023, shooting in the 2100 block of North Sierra Way claimed the life of Erick Gomez.

No possible motive has been disclosed, but police on Monday released a sketch of the suspected shooter, who they describe as a man in his mid 20s who is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 to 230 pounds.

Police previously said he was wearing a black hoodie and gray shorts at the time.
