Rumer Willis had the most glam moment at the Venice Film Festival.
On Sunday, Sept. 1, the 36-year-old actress and singer appeared at amfAR’s annual benefit gala. She wore a chocolate silk gown with an off-the-shoulder neckline, draped chiffon sleeves and micro-pleated bodice from the latest couture Fall/Winter 2024-2025 Georges Chakra collection.
Willis kept her accessories to a minimum, only wearing a few rings. She wore her bright blonde hair down in a middle part and behind her shoulders. Her glam was amped up for the evening — with an appropriately smokey eye in place.
AmfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, returned to the film festival to honor actor and humanitarian Richard Gere, who was presented with the organization’s Award of Inspiration.
In addition to award presentations and a live auction, the black-tie gala featured a special performance by singer, actress and longtime amfAR supporter Kelly Rowland, who sang “Dilemma.” Willis also performed, taking to the stage to sing The Jackson Five’s “I Want You Back.” The event took place at Hangar Nicelli in Lido di Venezia.
Supporting amfAR is a family affair. Earlier this year, Willis’ mom, Demi Moore, 61, hosted the amfAR Gala at Cannes Film Festival. At the May 23 event, the actress stunned in a custom Loewe gown that featured a plunging neckline, dramatic slit and crystal-embroidered details — as well as a dip in the back to show off even more skin.

On Instagram, Moore reflected on hosting the star-studded charity event in 1997.
“Remembering the one and only Elizabeth Taylor today,” the star captioned a photo of herself and the late actress. “27 years ago I hosted the @amfAR Gala in Cannes on her behalf, and I’m honored to be hosting again tonight.”

Willis told PEOPLE at the event that this is her first time in Venice so she’s especially excited for the event.
“I’m delighted to be here,” she says. “But to be able to perform and be here, I’ve been coming to amfAR galas at different places for many years and I feel so honored and privileged to be able to come perform tonight.”
