Robert Irwin was left stunned on Monday during an appearance on KIIS 97.3’s Robin, Kip & Corey radio show.

The wildlife warrior appeared on the show to promote the new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of here! following its Sunday night premiere.

However, the radio hosts seemed more interested in the 22-year-old’s love life.

‘On behalf of every single woman under the age of 30. Are you single?’ asked Robin Bailey.

‘Oh, we’re going straight in for the exclusive! Yes, yes,’ responded Robert.

He then revealed he was optimistic about meeting a romantic partner soon.

‘On behalf of every single woman under the age of 30. Are you single?’ asked Robin Bailey

‘Oh, definitely. It’s one of these things where I’m like, at this point in my life, you’ve got to let it happen,’ Robert said.

‘Because I’m so here and there and everywhere at 100 miles an hour. I’m open to it… Watch this space. There’s not much to report at the moment,’ he continued.

Robert has been making the most of his newfound Hollywood fame amid his headline-making run and victory on US Dancing With the Stars last year.

He has previously been linked American professional dancer Hailey Bills, 19, and actress Xochitl Gomez, 19.

Xochitl and Robert danced together for the 20th anniversary of US Dancing With the Stars – and viewers could not help but notice their ‘chemistry’ on screen as they delivered an impressive Jive.

The Baby–Sitters Club star, who won Season 32 of the show in 2023, was a special guest on the episode, standing in for Robert’s usual dance partner, Witney Carson.

New Idea magazine claimed that Robert is looking for ‘Miss right now’ and not ‘Miss right’ – and is too busy ‘playing’ to find the one.

Robert is ‘in no rush to settle down’ and is keeping his options open, the magazine alleges.

It comes after a Queensland man won the coveted title of Australia’s best Robert Irwin lookalike.

It’s certainly been a big 12 months for Robert, after winning the US version of Dancing with the Stars and a new season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! premiering on Sunday night.

Robert still works at Australia Zoo, his family’s Queensland-based conservation park, and carries on his late father Steve’s conservation mission.

Robert split with long–time sweetheart Rorie Buckey in February 2024.
