Former NFL star Richard Sherman’s family was robbed at gunpoint inside their home over the weekend.
The Super Bowl champion posted photos and security video to X, formerly Twitter, of the thieves breaking into his home.
“House being robbed at gunpoint with my family in it isn’t what anyone wants for a birthday gift,” he wrote. “Scary situation that my Wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe. If anyone has any info that can help find these people, please reach out.”
The break-in happened Saturday night at the couple’s home in Maple Valley, Washington, which is just outside of Seattle.
It’s unclear where Sherman was at the time of the break-in.
Police are using security video in their investigation, but so far no arrests have been made.
The former Seattle Seahawk and 49ers cornerback is the latest in a string of athletes have been burglarized over the past year.
