RHOA alumna Brit Eady’s $20m sexual harassment lawsuit gets pushback from Bravo over Kenya Moore incident

Brit Eady knew precisely what she was getting into when she joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Bravo alleged in legal documents in its ongoing case with the reality star.

Eady, who appeared on the Georgia-based reality show during its 16th season last year, ‘certainly was not victimized by’ the network as she claims in her $20 million litigation, court documents reviewed by TMZ revealed.

The one-time Bravo personality in her filing last year made claims of defamation, emotional distress, sexual harassment and a hostile work environment against Bravo, centered around an incident with Kenya Moore that played out on the series.

Lawyers for Bravo said in its retort that Eady was attempting ‘to rewrite history’ and ignore the ‘contractual commitments’ she agreed to as part of her participation on the series.

Bravo said the reason Eady had filed the lawsuit was ‘because she no longer likes the consequences of joining a popular and long-running reality series.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Eady and representatives for Bravo for further comment.

Bravo in legal documents noted that the show has been ‘well known to feature authentic, unscripted dialogue, conflict, drama, and confrontation, along with many other dynamics of a group of women.’

Moore on the series claims to have posters featuring graphic images of Eady, which she denied was her.

Eady in legal documents filed last year reviewed by Daily Mail cited the show’s fifth episode of the 16th season, in which Moore brought up the ‘revenge porn’ images.

Eady said that Moore’s comments about her were ‘false, defamatory, harassing and damaging.’

It was later learned that Eady was not the woman seen in the racy images.

Eady added in her legal filing last year that she ‘did not see the explicit photograph until after certain of these events were aired on Bravo nearly a year’ later.

Eady said in her filing last year that Bravo ‘willfully, intentionally, recklessly, and/or with gross negligence produced, edited, and aired an episode of RHOA on April 6, 2025, that included footage of certain of the cast members’ statements at issue as well as commentary from other cast members that described the photographs displayed.

‘Further, the manner in which the episode was aired falsely yet unmistakably implied that the graphic sexual photograph presented by the cast member depicted’ Eady.

Eady’s legal team said in last year’s filing that Bravo was aware that Eady was not the person in the picture — which it had ‘refused’ to show her — and that sharing that knowledge would have given her the means to clear up the misunderstanding.

This subjected Eady ‘to unwelcome, offensive, and sexualized behavior and comments based on her gender by requiring her to continue working in an environment in which she had been subject to a gendered attack, creating an inferior condition or privilege of employment because of her gender,’ her lawyers said.

Bravo said that the paperwork Eady signed prior to joining the cast made it crystal clear that participation on the series could expose her to ‘provocative conduct or speech from other cast members.’

Bravo said in its filing that ‘that production could involve stressful or emotionally challenging other’ cast members and circumstances.

Bravo said that the series — which has in the past featured high-profile reality stars such as Moore, Nene Leakes, Kim Zolciak and Porsha Williams — had been well-established by the time Eady joined the cast.

Moore was suspended in the wake of the incident and hasn’t been invited back, the network said, adding that Eady was asked to return for the 17th season and declined the offer.

Bravo has asked the court to dismiss the case, saying the network can’t be considered liable for the situation.
