Police are searching for three to four suspects who left a man injured during a home invasion robbery in Los Angeles County overnight.
The masked suspects, including at least one who was armed, broke into the home on the 2900 block of Duarte Road through a front window around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday as a man and two teenagers were awake, police said.
The man was confronted by the suspects and struck by an undisclosed object during the incident.
“The suspect ordered the victim to sit or stay, and he was at one point struck, and he did not move,” San Marino Police Department Chief John Incontro said. “He cooperated. Everybody in the home cooperated. The suspects went through the home very quickly and left.”
It was unclear what was taken during the incident, but investigators believe the suspects were inside the home for about three minutes.
The victim was later seen being treated for what were described as minor abrasions to the head by medical personnel.
The suspects were wearing masks, hoodies and gloves and appeared to be males, police said.
