Human remains were found in a storm drain in Monday morning.
The Pomona Police Department responded to East End Avenue and East Third Street at about 9:30 a.m. after the discovery, police said in a news release.
Detectives came to the scene to investigate, and the person’s identity and cause of death have not been released.
That information will be determined by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
