Next Gen NYC star Gia Giudice has revealed how her father, Joe Giudice, is doing since he was deported from the United States six years ago – and Bravo fans will be relieved to hear that he’s doing ‘great.’

Gia, 25, recently stopped by the Daily Mail’s New York City studio for an exclusive chat, where she spilled all the tea on her family, the upcoming season of Next Gen, and the new restaurant she’s opening in New Jersey.

Of course, that included a crucial update on her beloved father, who was deported to Italy after he was released from prison for fraud.

‘Dad’s great, he’s great,’ Gia told the Daily Mail of Joe, who has since relocated to The Bahamas to be closer to the family.

‘Doing construction out in the Bahamas, so he’s killing it out there. I’m so happy for him,’ she said.

‘Obviously, we wish every day that one day he’s allowed back, but for the time being, we just stay positive,’ Gia, who also won this past season of Special Forces, shared.

Gia, along with her three sisters – Gabriella, 21, Milania, 20, and Audriana, 16 – make the time to go visit their dad a few times a year

‘As long as he’s doing good and he’s happy, that’s all that matters.’

Gia, along with her three sisters – Gabriella, 21, Milania, 20, and Audriana, 16 – make the time to go visit their dad a few times a year.

He and ex-wife Teresa finalized their divorce in 2020, and she has since remarried to Luis Ruelas.

‘Everyone has found their happiness,’ Gia told the Daily Mail of their family.

‘His kids are good, we’re good. My mom is remarried and super happy, and he’s happy. So that’s all that matters,’ she said.

And despite their divorce, Gia said that her parents still maintain an amazing relationship.

‘They will always be there for each other,’ the Casual Chaos with Gia podcast host explained.

‘I think that is what was a really beautiful thing about my parents and their whole divorce process, it was never ugly,’ she said.

‘They always kept it civil for us and they still do to this day.’

In July, she shared an emotional video to her Instagram page in an effort to appeal to President Donald Trump to pardon her father.

It came just a few months after Chrisley Knows Best stars Julie and Todd Chrisley were pardoned from federal prison by the President.

‘You know, I think the biggest thing that we can do right now is just bring awareness to it,’ Gia said of her dad’s ongoing case.

‘Everybody’s case is different,’ she continued. ‘We don’t believe that we are more of a priority than anybody else.’

‘So, if it happens, it happens. It’s in God’s hands. And we just pray every day.’

The Giudice family seems to be in a good place right now with their extended relatives, too.

Her mom, Teresa, recently made amends with her brother Joe Gorga, after a longstanding feud.

‘I think we really all just let the past go and we realized what’s important,’ Gia said about the reconciliation.

This year, viewers will get to see more of Gia’s journey as she is set to star on the second season of Bravo’s Next Gen NYC, which saw 5.4 million total viewers across platforms within 35 days of its premiere last summer.

'I feel like the relationships and the dynamic between the group has grown so much,' Gia said of the upcoming season, as she's seen here with Ariana Biermann

It also stars other Bravolebrity children, like Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Brooks Marks and Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Ariana Biermann.

‘I feel like the relationships and the dynamic between the group has grown so much,’ Gia said of the upcoming season.

‘We really are all friends,’ she continued.

‘So season one, I think it was a little different because we really didn’t know each other that well,’ Gia said.

‘We were all getting to know each other but now season two, we all feel comfortable and we definitely dove right in.’

This season will also see the process of her opening up a new Italian-fusion restaurant, Il Vero, in Westwood, New Jersey.

‘It’s going to be like the favorite picks of what we love and what we know everyone will love,’ Gia said.

‘But obviously there’s going to be specials from Teresa’s cookbooks, and the decor in the restaurant is amazing,’ she added.

Il Vero is projected to open this Spring.
