A POPULAR influencer has died in a motorcycle accident.
Jimmy McMahan, 50, is believed to have been the only person involved in the crash.
The content creator died in the incident on the evening of January 19 in Millington, a small city in the Memphis metropolitan area.
McMahan – who had a following of more than 120,000 on Instagram – was known online for his rapping as well as his funny ideas showing his everyday life in Memphis.
Known as “Whyte Folkz”, police confirmed he died in the accident which took place at the intersection of Saratoga Road and Millington Road in Millington.
The City of Millington confirmed to WREG that there was a sole victim, confirmed as McMahan by the internet personality’s manager.
“Whitefolkz was more than a brother — he was a son, a friend, and a light to everyone who knew him,” read a GoFundMe page opened by his family members to raise money for his funeral costs.
“His laughter, loyalty, and love will never be forgotten. He lived with passion and left a lasting impression on all our lives.”
“To know my brother was an honor,” wrote McMahan’s daughter-in-law Tonya.
“Never a dull moment, my stomach and ribs would hurt for days after spending a day with him! His heart was so big no matter who you were.”
Fans also were quick to pay tribute.
“Rest easy brother,” one wrote, while another added: “Keep on riding up there brother.”
