South Korean actor Kim Soohyun will star in Disney+ drama Knock-Off, scheduled for release next year.
Having previously starred in My Love from The Star, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and Queen of Tears, Soohyun will appear alongside Cho Boah (Tale of the Nine Tailed, Military Prosecutor Doberman) in the crime drama written by Han Junghoon (Song of the Bandits, 38 Task Force). Park Hyeonseok (Song of the Bandits, Stranger 2) will direct.
The series is slated to stream on the Disney+ platform in 2025. It’s the latest Korean project from the Mouse House, which released more than 10 titles in 2024, building on the streamer’s Asia-Pacific content slate of 2023. Hits included Moving, Big Bet and The Worst of Evil.
A Shop For Killers currently stands as 2024’s most viewed local original series on Disney+ in the region (based on views).
