PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Prince William County Police Department said a person was shot on Saturday afternoon.
In a post on X just after 4 p.m., the department said officers were dispatched to the 14100 block of Richmond Highway to investigate a shooting.
Officers said one person was injured. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Police said residents should expect a heavy police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
