PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A school bus in Prince George’s County caught on fire Friday evening.
The Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD) said a county school bus caught on fire before 8 p.m. in the 2200 block Cheverly Avenue.
PGFD officials said the fire was ruled as an accident and the cause is being investigated.
The only person aboard the bus was the driver who was able to get out without getting hurt. The driver tried to put out the fire but was not able to.
