Pregnant Charlotte Dawson has revealed the quirky way she made her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield apologise to her late dad Les.
The reality star, 31, has been with the rugby league player, 32, for eight years but was left hurt and humiliated after finding out two weeks ago he had sent intimate texts to another woman.
As the couple, who are expecting their third child together, work through the hurt, Charlotte told of how she made Matthew apologise to her family.
While he has ‘a lot of making up’ to do with the TV personality’s mum, Tracy, he also had to ‘say sorry’ to her dad, Les.
Comedy legend Les, a household name during his 1970s and ’80s heyday, died of heart failure on June 10 1993, aged 63 – just eight months after Charlotte was born.

Speaking about the scandal in an interview with OK! Magazine, Charlotte explained: ‘My family, as angry as they are, don’t want me to be on my own with three children. They want me to be happy and if we try and work through this, they’ll be supportive, but they’re very, very disappointed in him.
‘I made Matthew go and say sorry to the life-size cardboard cutout I keep of my dad. And he has a lot of making up to do with my mum, too.
‘When he apologised to the cutout of my dad, I said, “What have you got to say for yourself?” And Matthew said, “I’m so, so sorry for what I’ve done to your daughter.” And I told him to be glad Dad couldn’t speak back!’
The couple share one-year-old Jude, and Noah, three, and are ‘considering couples’ counselling’ with the Swinton Lions now player living back at the family home.
Just days ago Charlotte recalled the devastating moment she found out her fiancé Matthew had been sexting another woman.
Speaking out for the first time on her My Naughty Corner podcast, she said: ‘I don’t get why he’s done it, it drives me mad because he’s got everything. He doesn’t want to lose his family over this.’
The television personality was walking to meet Matthew at the barbers when she got a call from her manager who broke the news of his betrayal.
‘My whole world came crashing down, I was so shocked. I felt really shocked, hurt and disappointed. His family were really shocked with him,’ she said.

The reality star said she sat there shaking unable to get through to her mum and sister on the phone. Meanwhile, Charlotte’s manager rang Matthew to tell him the news.
She recalled: ‘He rings me and he said “please speak to me”. I said: “I’m done”. He said he was drunk and begging me not to leave him.’
Charlotte revealed Matthew had met the blonde woman through rugby as he played on the team with her ex, with them messaging on Instagram.
She said: ‘I’ve seen the message they’re not nice, it really hurt’.
