MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Several power lines wires were knocked down after a truck crashed in Clarksburg Wednesday afternoon.
In a post on X, Pete Piringer with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service said that the collision happened around noon in the 12000 block of Piedmont Rd., near Tregonning Drive.
Piringer said no one was hurt in the crash, and the power company was called to the scene to work on repairs.
The Montgomery County Department of Police said Piedmont Road, between Remae Court and Tregoning Drive, was closed, as of Wednesday.
Drivers traveling in this area should find an alternative route.
