(KTLA) – Gunshots rang out at a motel in Long Beach on Thursday afternoon in a shooting involving at least one police officer, authorities said.
The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. at the Bristol Motel, located in the 5500 block of Atlantic Avenue.
Crime scene tape blocked both directions of Atlantic Avenue, where evidence markers could be seen on the road, Sky5’s Gil Leyvas reported.
It was unclear if the shooting occurred on the street or motel property. Very few details were available as of 4 p.m.
