A young man was shot and killed in North Hills early Sunday morning, and police are still searching for answers.
The shooting was initially reported as a death investigation at about 4:45 a.m. in the 8700 block of Parthenia Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. When officers arrived, they found a man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man, identified only as a 24-year-old Hispanic man as of Monday morning, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information available, the LAPD said.
