Police have found a 14-year-old mother and her infant son who went missing in Orange County.
The Santa Ana Police Department said the mother and son had been missing since Saturday morning when they were last seen at their home in the 400 block of South Daisy Street.
In an update on Sunday at 4:52 p.m., the department said Marilyn Perez and her 6-month-old son, Misael Perez, were safely found in the city of Stanton.

Details are limited, and police did not immediately say whether the pair left home on foot or what—if any—their last contact was with whoever was last with them.
The police department posted their missing person alert to X on Sunday afternoon, describing Marilyn as a 14-year-old Hispanic female who stands 5 feet and 3 inches tall and weighs about 100 lbs.
In addition, the post said Marilyn has brown hair and brown eyes.
Although the post did not provide the same visual details for Misael, the photo shows that the infant also appears to have brown hair and brown eyes.
The SAPD Watch Commander encouraged anyone with information on the pair’s whereabouts to contact them at 714-245-8700 or Detective Corporal B. Speakman at 714-245-8431 or [email protected].
