ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) — The Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) Wildlife Resource Center helped care for a baby chipmunk after it was found with an injured eye.
AWLA said the “very cute” baby chipmunk arrived in its care Wednesday. Staff members were able to give it a check-up.
The chipmunk was then sent to a wildlife rehabber to be cared for until it is old enough to go back into the wild.
