WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — People are being evacuated after an outdoor gas leak in Northwest D.C. on Friday night.
DC Fire and EMS said there was an outdoor gas leak in the 2200 block of 10th St.
A high-pressure gas line was involved creating a heavy odor in the nearby vicinity.
People are being evacuated from nearby commercial buildings and metering is being conducted.
Drivers are being diverted from the area and Washington Gas was requested to the scene.
