A PENSIONER who died after being hit by their own car has been pictured as cops launch a probe into the horrific tragedy.
The 73-year-old was involved in a fatal collision with her own vehicle in Leeds last month, police said.
Andrea Sloan’s heartbroken family has now released a photo of her as officers continue to appeal for information.
West Yorkshire Police raced to a car park of Abbey Grange Medical Practice in Kirkstall on October 29 shortly before 5pm.
They had received reports that a 73-year-old woman had been in a horror collision with her own car.
It’s believed that a Kia Picanto, which belonged to Andrea, was parked on a slight slope.
The motor then rolled backwards down the slope and knocked her over.
Paramedics battled to save her life but, despite their best efforts, she was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Cops are now urging anyone who can help with their investigation to get in touch.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Officers are continuing to appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have dash cam footage of the circumstances leading up to it to come forward.
