The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in tracking down the drivers who struck a pedestrian twice, the second impact proving fatal, in North Hollywood Friday night.

The female pedestrian was hit just after 9:30 p.m. as she walked south across Victory Boulevard near the intersection with Troost Avenue, police said in a news release.

She was first struck by an SUV or minivan that did not stop to help, police said.

As she tried to stand up after the first collision, a second vehicle, a light blue 2003 Toyota 4Runner, hit her again, killing her, police said.
