LOS ANGELES (KTLA) – A 58-year-old man was killed during a collision with a motorcyclist over the weekend in Orange County, officials announced.

The Feb. 1 incident, according to a social media post by the Santa Ana Police Department, occurred just after 7 p.m. in the 1000 block of North Euclid Street.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian, now identified as Hoang Mai Phan, a resident of Garden Grove, was walking eastbound “through Euclid St. When he was struck by a motorcycle traveling southbound,” investigators said.
