EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures has renewed its first-look feature film deal with George L. Tillman Jr. and Robert Teitel’s State Street Pictures for an additional term.
The Bob Marley: One Love production company first inked a production pact with the studio in 2020. Tillman Jr. and Teitel’s film credits include The Hate U Give, the Barbershop franchise, Men of Honor, Soul Food, and Notorious, among others.
State Street Pictures‘ executive suite also includes Robert Prinz, Head of Television, and Lawrence Mott, Head of Film.

State Street Pictures/Plan B Entertainment’s Bob Marley: One Love from filmmaker Reinaldo Marcus Green racked up over $180M worldwide. Prior to this, State Street Pictures and Temple Hill produced Sanaa Lathan’s directorial debut, On the Come Up, starring Jamila C. Gray, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Lil Yachty, and Mike Epps for Paramount+.
