Authorities arrested two individuals after they allegedly pointed a firearm, later found to be a replica, at a student outside of a high school in Los Angeles County.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, a Baldwin Park High School student reported that they were approached by two individuals inside of a vehicle on Tuesday. The student said the individuals brandished a gun “in a threatening manner.”
The student was able to walk back to campus unharmed.
Officers quickly investigated and located the suspects at an apartment complex in nearby Azusa, according to authorities. They were apprehended when they attempted to leave the complex.
Images shared by Baldwin Park PD showed officers pointing their guns at a male suspect. A female suspect was also pictured in handcuffs.

The two suspects were arrested, although it wasn’t immediately clear what charges they could be facing. Officers found a replica firearm resembling a rifle in their possession.
No additional details were immediately made available.
