PAGE 3 legend Sam Fox will not stand trial for allegedly punching her wife in a drunk brawl on a British Airways flight after the charge was dropped.
The model-turned-pop star, 58, had been due to face a judge on Monday over the supposed bust-up with partner Linda Olsen on the jet from Heathrow to Munich.
The alleged incident happened while the plane was preparing to take off on December 3 last year.
Cops were called to board the plane with the flight first delayed, then taken back to its gate and cancelled due to the German airport’s strict 10pm closing time.
It is understood prosecutors discontinued the assault by beating charge after lawyers determined changes to evidence meant they no longer believed the blonde glamour star would be convicted.
Fox had already pleaded guilty to using threatening and abusive language and being drunk on an aircraft.
She will be sentenced for the two offences at Uxbridge magistrates’ court tomorrow (Mon).
The Sun on Sunday revealed in January that Fox had been arrested and spent a night in a police cell after allegedly rowing with Ms Olsen.
The star and Ms Olsen, 48, started dating in 2016, a year after the death of Fox’s long-term partner Myra Stratton.
They married at a glitzy Essex bash in June 2022.
After a career in modelling launched by The Sun, Fox became a household name thanks to regular TV appearances including on Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Masterchef.
The model also launched a singing career with top 40 hit Touch Me and was nominated for a Brit Award in 1988.
Her representative declined to comment.
