PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — U.S Park Police (USPP) said an overturned vehicle left an adult dead and four minors injured Sunday morning.
USPP said that at about 11:20 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving one car on east Suitland Parkway in the area of Suitland Road.
The adult died at the scene.
The four minors were transported by the USPP Aviation Unit to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
The crash is under investigation.
Eastbound traffic was diverted in the area of Meadowview Drive, and Westbound Suitland Parkway traffic was diverted before Suitland Road.
