Outnumbered actors Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez have reunited to relive iconic moments from Comic Relief episodes of the show.Â
It was announced last month that the beloved BBC drama will return with a special one-off episode this Christmas, 10 years after the series ended.
Now adults, Tyger, 28, Daniel, 24, and Ramona, 23, – who played Jake, Ben, and Karen – look back on old Comic Relief episodes in a three-part YouTube ‘Rewind’ series.
Ahead of the special, Britain’s funniest on-screen siblings watch their younger selves in moments which make them laugh and cringe – with the first episode dropping on Sunday.Â
Tyger, Daniel and Ramona reveal behind-the-scenes secrets, including how the crew got the kids to behave and laugh on cue, and what it was like working with Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner, who played their on-screen parents Pete and Sue.Â

The trio also reminisce about getting to work with Wimbledon champion Andy Murray and being starstruck while meeting comedian Harry Hill, as they reflect on growing up in the limelight.
In a first look at one of the episodes released on Wednesday, Tyger, Daniel and Karen watch a clip up of Ben being told off by his dad Peter [Hugh Dennis] for ‘crossing the line’ by filming him on the toilet and posting it on YouTube then sending it to Harry Hill.Â
‘I don’t know where the line is, I’m only eight,’ Ben says, in his typical fashion.
The three actors can’t help but laugh as they notice young Daniel’s hilarious improvised movements in the scene. Â
Ramona Marquez, who played the iconic youngest child Karen, revealed that she does sometimes watch Outnumbered again, adding that her housemate and girlfriend love the episodes.Â
‘It’s comforting to see it, even though I was in it!’ she said. ‘I like being able to watch us all grow up on screen, and I love being able to see Hugh and Claire; they were always joking around on set and creating such a relaxed and fun environment for us and the crew during filming.’Â
Daniel, who played middle child Ben, replied: ‘I just don’t know if I’m there yet. I don’t know I’m still… maybe I need a couple more years before I can just confidently sit there and watch seven-year-old me get up to some antics.’
He said that his main memories from filming Comic Relief specials were that they gave them an opportunity to work and joke around with celebrities, including Andy, Frank Lampard and Christine Lampard.

He said: ‘It was such an incredible experience, and they were all so funny!Â
‘Being part of Comic Relief’s Rewind series has been amazing, giving us a chance to reminisce and laugh together over the content we filmed 12 years ago.’
Tyger Drew-Honey, who played eldest son Jake, said: ‘Being a part of Outnumbered was an amazing experience. It was such an iconic show that resonated with so many people because the Brockmans were the quintessential British family.Â
‘Filming the Comic Relief specials was always a unique experience, where we would come together after months of filming. I remember being 10 years old and thinking, “Wow, I get to be a part of something really special.”‘
The first full episode in the three-part series airs on Sunday 16 June at 4pm on Comic Relief’s YouTube channel.Â
The episode will mark eight years since the family last appeared on screen, after they returned for a Christmas special in 2016, two years after the show came to an end.
The child stars of the show previously sent fans into a frenzy as they reunited nine years after the hit show ended in October, sparking rumours of a reunion.
And it has now been confirmed that the Brockmans are back for a Christmas special with viewers set to discover what has happened to the family in the past decade.
During this time, it has been revealed that one of the Brockman kids has welcomed a child of their own in a brief synopsis for the upcoming episode.
It will follow the chaos in the downsized home of Pete and Sue Brockman, as they grapple with parenting kids who are now adults, with their own lives to lead.

In a moment of adversity, Sue and Pete gather all their offspring (including one grandchild) to try and celebrate a traditional family Christmas. But fate, neighbours, hyenas and bus replacement services get in their way.Â
Hugh Dennis says: ‘I can’t wait for the Brockmans to be back together again. Pete and Sue have downsized, the children are no longer children, but I’m sure family life will prove to be just as chaotic as ever.’
Claire Skinner says: ‘I’m really looking forward to being reunited with my TV family. Working on this wonderful BBC comedy doesn’t feel like work and is one of the greatest joys for us all.’
Jon Petrie, Director of BBC Comedy, says: ‘Outnumbered is one of the crown jewels of British sitcoms. We’re so grateful to Guy, Andy, Hattrick, and the cast for dusting it off and putting it back on display.’

Others commented that it completed an incredible festive line-up after it was already announced that there would be a final Gavin and Stacey special.

Followers took to the comment section pleading with the trio to bring the show back.

‘Outnumbered needs to come back!!’, one follower wrote.Â
Others added: ‘Need a one off episode of you all now as grown ups’ and ‘are you filming something???’
However, when one follower asked if Outnumbered was being brought back for good, Tyger replied: ‘I don’t think so mate’.
The trio played the characters from 2007 to 2014, as the show detailed their parents – played by Hugh and Claire – raising their children in South London.Â
Outnumbered was watched by 9.4 million viewers at its peak and ran for five series with a one-off Christmas special in 2016.
The show centred on a middle-class family living in London, as teacher Pete (Hugh) and personal assistant Sue (Claire) struggled to balance their careers with their unruly children.
In 2018, the on-screen parents shocked fans as they revealed they’ve been dating for over a year following the breakdown of their marriages.
Opening up about their romance to The Mail On Sunday, the pair spoke about of their real-life happiness after it emerged that they have been in a relationship since 2017.
Comedian Hugh confirmed the romance, saying he was ‘very happy’ after finding love with Clockwork Mice star Claire.
‘I am very, very happy, we are so very happy. It’s nice and yes, it’s so lovely,’ he said at the time.
In 2019, Claire broke her silence on her relationship with Outnumbered co-star Hugh, calling their romance a ‘lovely little life surprise’.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine in September, Claire said of their romance: ‘We are (together). It’s a lovely little life surprise, isn’t it? It’s a lovely thing.’Â
Back together: Ramona Marquez, 22, who played Karen Brockman, took to Instagram on Monday to share snaps from her secret project with older on-screen brothersÂ
Excitement: The post sparked questions from fans asking if a new series could be on the way, while over on Tyger’s Instagram he provided more clues as to what they were working on
Memories: Ramona looked thrilled to be back with her older on-screen brothers as they posed for a photoÂ
The couple did not start dating until after Outnumbered had finished filming, with Hugh recalling the beginnings of their relationship on an interview on BBC Radio 5 Live earlier in 2019.
He said at the time: ‘That happened I suppose about a year and a half ago. We did an Outnumbered Christmas special about three years ago and then met up again about a year and a half ago.’
Speaking about portraying the family, Claire said: ‘Hugh and I had to sort of, a lot of the time take a backseat and let them go and when they had gone home we’d do the more nuts and bolts stuff.’
The Mail on Sunday previously reported that Hugh and Claire live together in the £1.2million London penthouse flat Hugh bought following his split from his second wife, Kate Abbot-Anderson, in 2015.
Life Is Sweet actress Claire is said to have split from her TV director husband Charles Palmer in 2016 after marrying in 2001.
In 2018, the on-screen parents shocked fans as they revealed they’ve been dating for over a year following the breakdown of their marriages
Now divorced, they have two sons – William, 21, and Henry, 18. Mock The Week panellist Hugh has two children with ex-wife Kate – Freddie, 23, and Meg, 21.
It is understood their family, close friends and a select few colleagues had been aware of their relationship, though they had chosen not to ‘go public’ with it.
A friend added: ‘It’s the most wonderful love story, they found one another at the right time in their lives and it’s all rather sweet.
‘Over the past few weeks there has been some talk within the acting world of them being an item.’
It is believed the couple have been open with their respective exes and their children about their relationship, which will come as a shock to loyal fans of the show.
Despite the pair being seen out in public together several times, it was presumed that they were just good friends. Â
The award-winning Outnumbered was watched by 9.4 million viewers at its peak and ran for five series between 2007 and 2014, with a one-off Christmas special in 2016.
Meanwhile, their on-screen children have all grown up since their last appearance on screen, different paths – from drugs controversy to a panto prince.
Ramona lit up the small screen as the assertive, intelligent and sassy Karen.
Ramona (pictured as Karen in Outnumbered) was just six years old when the BBC sitcom about three unruly siblings first aired
Ramona (pictured) often posts photos and videos of herself out and about in London
The former child star has ditched her blonde curls for thick, brunette tresses and a fringe and heavy winged eyeliner
The little girl who had an answer for everything and often saw her parents tying themselves in knots as they went toe-to-toe with her wooed audiences with her cherub-like looks.
With an adorable smile and blonde ringlet curls in her hair, little Ramona stole the show on the BBC sitcom as she delivered hilarious punchlines without blinking.
The series ended with her attending secondary school and being somewhat put in her place by her headteacher, who had little time for her quirks.
Since the show ended, Ramona has grown into a young woman and even has a university degree.
The Tab reports she began studying Spanish and Mandarin at the University of Manchester in 2019 – but was not a member of the drama society on campus.
She has a sharp sense of style and often sports coloured, winged eyeliner to match her grunge-inspired outfits.Â
She also has several intricately-designed tattoos on her arm which she has showed off on her Instagram account.
Now sporting straight-styled brunette locks and a fringe, Ramona enjoys visiting art exhibitions and pubs.
Definitely not a child anymore, she appears to be a big fan of Guinness, and quotes in her Instagram bio: ‘No logo on the foam.’
This appears to be a reference to the motto repeated by many Guinness fans – most notably the ‘S**t London Guinness’ followers.
Although Ramona doesn’t appear to act much these days, she still enjoys the arts and takes trips to the theatre with her pals while in London.Â
Daniel (pictured as Ben in Outnumbered) was seven years old when the TV show first airedÂ
Daniel (pictured in Thailand) is a budding rugby player and has recently shared photos on Instagram of himself travelling
In one of the photos Daniel shared from his trip to the Golden Triangle he was holding packets of what appeared to be drugs
Daniel Roche played the eccentric, excitable and ever-so-slightly mad middle child of the Brockman family, Ben.
A kind boy at heart, he drove his parents to distraction with games and ‘science’ experiments that involved sucking up ridiculous objects with the vacuum cleaner and microwaving insects.
Throughout the series, Bens antics at school often resulted in his parents being called in over incidents such as tying a female classmate to the climbing frame by her plaits and informing the school inspector that he had learnt to wee on his own that day – by demonstrating it there and then.
As Ben gets older (and much taller) viewers see him developing a love of performing arts as he is cast in his school’s production of Spartacus: The Musical as the main character.
But since the show ended, Daniel has led a quieter life off-screen, and is now a budding rugby star who is travelling the world with his friends.
He plays for Ealing Trailfinders RFC and often posts photos on Instagram of himself storming across the pitch.
Daniel was caught up in a scandal when he shared photos on his Instagram account from his travels with pals in Thailand, where they explored the Golden Triangle, where the country meets with Myanmar and Laos.
In the post, which contained several snaps, the last photo showed Daniel carrying five sealed bags, one of which contained a dark green substance.
Another of the mystery bags was marked ‘OG kush’, while a camouflage shoulder bag sits next to Roche.
He posted the Instagram photos with the caption ‘No case in the Golden Triangle.’
One friend replied with a number of what appear to be smoke emojis.
Thailand legalised medical cannabis in 2018 but smoking the drug can still be a cause for a penalty or prison sentence due to public nuisance laws. However, there was no indication the star consumed any drugs.
When he isn’t on holiday or on the rugby pitch, Daniel finds time to catch up with his Outnumbered onscreen siblings and posted a sweet photo with Tyger and Ramona in 2021 when lockdowns has begun to lift.
As the trio posed against a wall, looking all grown up but as close as ever, Daniel sweetly referred to the group as ‘the fam’.
He wrote: ‘No more of COVID keeping the fam apart.’
Tyger (pictured right with his Brockman co-stars in Outnumbered) was 11 years old when the TV show first aired
Tyger starred in a pantomime production of Cinderella in Poole, Dorset, as Prince Charming
In 2014 Tyger (pictured last year) interviewed his mother Linzi Drew about her work as a porn star for a BBC Three documentary about the porn industry
Tyger played the anxious, thoughtful oldest Brockman sibling Jake throughout the five series of the sitcom.
The pilot episode showed him fretting about his first day of secondary school while he examined his stationery and told his parents he didn’t have a transparent ruler which he thought might get him in trouble.
As the series progressed and the children reached adolescence, viewers saw Jake battle with issues that plague teenage boys, including his first forays into the world of love and relationships.
By the end of the five series, Jake was in his final year of school and looking into options for university or taking a gap year – and he even got a cheeky tattoo that he managed to hide from his parents.
Since the series ended, Tyger has remained involved in performing arts and most recently starred as Prince Charming in a pantomime production of Cinderella at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole, Dorset in Christmas 2022.Â
The actor, whose parents are prominent stars in the porn industry, has also fronted two BBC Three documentaries about sex – the first about the porn industry in which he interviewed his mother and father, and the second about virtual reality in sex.
Describing the 2014 documentary, called Eye of the Tyger, he said:Â ‘It’s a young person’s Louis Theroux, where I look at issues that affect young people, such as body image, pornography and dating.
‘They are serious issues and they are things that I think I am curious about and interested in.’Â
Two years later Tyger presented The Virtual Reality Virgin, which explored the rise in popularity of sex robots.
At the time, he revealed to the Mirror that he actually tried out having sex with a robot for the show.
‘Despite my best efforts I did not manage to get anywhere near the finish line,’ he told the newspaper.Â
He added ‘I think I’ll stick to humans for now, robot sex is a long way off. And hey, what if you just want a cuddle?’
