The Oscars are just days away, and Hollywood’s first big round of street closures has begun to accommodate all the preps for the big day.
Starting Thursday, all lanes of Hollywood Boulevard are closed from Orange Drive to Highland Avenue until 6:00 a.m. on March 5.
MTA is also affected by the annual ceremony.
MTA will reroute bus traffic and subway trains will bypass the Ovation Hollywood station after the last regularly scheduled train on March 1 until the first scheduled train after 6 a.m. on March 3.
Expect additional street and sidewalk closures from now until March 2.
The 97th Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will be held on March 2 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on ABC at 4:00 p.m. PST. For the first time, the award show will be streamed on Hulu.
