Murrieta native Olivia Rodrigo has returned to Southern California for her Guts World Tour. The singer kicked off her world tour at the start of the tour with a hometown show in the Inland Empire at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert. Now she’s closing out the North American leg of the tour in Los Angeles with six shows. The first four dates took place at the Kia Forum with the final two shows happening at Inglewood’s newest venue, the Intuit Dome.

Throughout the Guts World Tour, the “bad idea right?” artist has brought out a few friends and iconic artists to join her on stage such as Sheryl Crow, Noah Kahan and Jewel. Those who attended the fifth Los Angeles show were in for a treat when Rodrigo brought out Chappell Roan to perform “HOT TO GO!”
Fans started speculating that Chappell Roan could be a surprise guest at during the concert last week ahead of Rodrigo’s second Los Angeles show on Aug. 14 at the Forum after it started spreading on social media that Rodrigo had been heard sound-checking “HOT TO GO!” earlier in the day.
Fans were thrilled when Rodrigo brought out Chappell Roan on her first night at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on Aug. 20. It was a full circle moment for both artist’s fans because Chappell Roan was the opening act for Rodrigo’s San Francisco show during the Sour Tour as well as the opening act for the first 24 shows of the Guts World Tour.

Since then Chappell Roan’s career has taken new heights as she’s performed at various music festivals such as Coachella, Gov Ball and Lollapalooza.
