Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department detained multiple suspects after a vehicle pursuit in South Los Angeles on Monday night.
According to unconfirmed reports, there were three suspects, possibly armed, in the vehicle wearing dark clothing and ski masks, all wanted for grand theft auto (GTA).
Sky5 was overhead, and KTLA’s Gil Leyvas followed the chase when officers deployed a spike strip near Orchard Avenue and 90th Street.
When the spike strip was laid out, the driver stopped the suspect vehicle before crossing over it.
Multiple suspects were seen attempting to flee out of the car but were quickly detained by the officers on scene.
