A girls’ high school basketball coach in Orange County has been arrested after allegations surfaced that the 25-year-old was having a sexual relationship with an underaged student.
Anaheim resident James Gaviola, described as a walk-on coach for the girls’ basketball team at Westminster High School, was arrested March 14, according to reporting from The Orange County Register.
Officers with the Westminster Police Department responded to the campus after receiving reports of the alleged relationship and eventually took him into custody on four counts of alleged sexual contact with a minor.

According to the O.C. outlet, school officials are cooperating with the investigation and police are concerned that there may be additional victims of the 25-year-old.
