A member of the NYPD was found dead of an apparent suicide, police said Tuesday.
The officer, 30, whose name was withheld pending family identification, was found by his partner in a residence on W. 186th St. in Queens around 1:44 p.m. Tuesday after the partner became worried that he hadn’t heard from him, according to police.
The officer had been with the force since January 2020, police confirmed. He served in the 30th precinct, which encompasses West Harlem, according to police.
