Lucia Hawley has shared a touching tribute to her late father, while confirming she has moved across the road from her childhood home.
The 26-year-old daughter of former TV presenter Antonia Kidman and niece of Nicole Kidman, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of heartwarming family throwback photos and excerpts from her latest Substack article.
Lucia’s father Angus Hawley, who was married to Antonia until 2007, died in 2015 at 46 after an apparent heart attack while in New York.
Tragically, the Kidman family also lost their father Dr Antony Kidman, just seven months prior, also from a suspected heart attack.
Alongside a series of photos that showed a young Lucia with her brothers James and Hamish, parents and grandfather, she shared that she has just moved into a new house directly opposite her childhood home.
‘When I saw the address of this house on paper, I noted its proximity to my old family home,’ Lucia wrote.
‘However, it wasn’t until we commenced the move that I realised it sat opposite my childhood home. Like directly opposite.’
Going on to describe the feelings of nostalgia that washed over her upon moving in, Lucia shared heartwarming family memories in the home such as her brother James being born there and receiving her first-ever pet cat called Pavlov.

‘A lot has happened since then,’ she continued.
‘My parents split up. We moved to Singapore. Pavlov, the cat, died (after 16 loving years).
‘However, he did outlive my dad, who passed away six years before him (a fact that I have thought about a lot – my dad would roll over in his grave knowing that our family cat survived longer than him).
‘We grew up, and we moved on.’
Lucia then revealed that she walks past her childhood home every night which she said has ‘ignited’ a sense of ‘homesickness’.

‘In the same way that watching an old family video evokes a feeling of wistfulness, my old house ignited an intense yearning inside me,’ she wrote.
‘A homesickness for the lifetime in which my dad and papa were alive, my grandma was healthy, and I was not yet a child of divorce—the calm before the storm in many ways.’
Lucia ended the sweet post revealing that she had seen a psychic as a way to reconnect with her late father.
‘I booked into a psychic recently,’ she continued.
‘I am not usually the type of person to lean into this sort of stuff, but something came over me—a desire to connect with my Dad, a sign that he is okay.’

‘Maybe this was my sign. Perhaps he is looking back at me through the shutters.’
The post was met with a flurry of well wishes from followers, including her uncle Phillip Hawley.
