Police arrested a woman suspected of murder after she barricaded in a Westlake building on Friday, LAPD reports.
The woman, whose identity has not been released by police, is seen in viewer footage climbing out of a window about six stories high while surrounded by SWAT members.
After she climbs out, she holds onto the ledge with only her hands, using her feet to feel around for the open window below.
Once she feels the top of the open window with her feet, she lets go with her hands and briefly balances as she squats and drops down to hop through the window into the room.
LAPD said officers were dispatched Friday morning around 8:50 a.m. to the building on the 1200 block of Ingraham Street for a female murder suspect refusing to come out.
The department said a SWAT team was called out around 3:37 p.m.
After 7 p.m. Friday, LAPD told KTLA that the suspect was taken into custody and had no further details available at the time.
