CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Illinois State Police is actively responding to a crash on I-70 in Cumberland County involving multiple vehicles.
According to State Police, I-70 eastbound in Cumberland County is currently closed and traffic is being diverted to U.S. Route 40. The crash happened near milepost 124 around 1:30 p.m.
State Police also said, “multiple traffic crashes” were reported, “involving multiple units.”
According to State Police, this is an active crash scene and there is currently no additional information available at this time.
