FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue (FCFR) said multiple chickens were killed in a barn fire in Centreville early Sunday.
Crews said that at about 4:30 a.m., they responded to a large barn fire at Cox Farms in the 15600 block of Braddock Road.
When first responders arrived, they saw flames showing from the roof of the barn.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and there were no injuries.
FCFR did not specify how many chickens died.
