ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after they were involved in a crash on Ritchie Highway in Anne Arundel County.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department (ACPD) told DC News Now that the crash happened near Hamburg Street and Earleigh Heights Road just after 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Police said a person was riding a 2023 Honda Motorcycle on Ritchie Highway when a Hyundai Santa Fe pulled out in front of it. This caused the motorcyclist to slam into the back of the SUV.
ACPD said the rider was taken to the Shock Trauma unit.
Their condition is unknown, as of Friday morning.
