MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Ride On, Montgomery County’s public transportation bus system, has released its operating hours for the Christmas holiday.
According to the bus system, hours will be altered on Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) and Dec. 25 (Christmas Day).
Ride On said riders should be aware of the following service changes:
On Dec. 24:
- Ride On, extRa, extRa Lime and Pink, Flex and Flash Orange will operate on a weekday schedule until 10 p.m. Trips leaving after 10 p.m. will not run.
- Flash Blue will operate on a normal weekday schedule.
- TRiPS Commuter Store will be open from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
On Dec. 25:
- Ride On, extRa Lime and extRa Pink will operate on a Sunday schedule.
- Flash Orange will operate on a weekend/holiday schedule.
- Ride On extRa, Flash Blue and Flex will not be in service.
- TRiPS Commuter and Mobile Stores will be closed.
