MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) – Officials with the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) are looking for three people accused of posing as Amazon workers and breaking into a home in Potomac in February.
Police released video of the incident, which showed each person wearing an Amazon work vest at the time of the burglary.
MCPD said the group forced its way into the house on Potomac Manors Road, took items, then left the scene in a black Kia Sportage.
On Tuesday, DC News Now spoke with a woman who lives near the home. She recalls police coming to her door the day of the burglary.
“He told me, ‘Did you know that someone just came to your neighborhood and broke in?’” Yang said, “I said, ‘I had no idea.’ And the police asked me to have the camera video from the front of my door.”
MCPD is asking anyone with information about what happened to contact them.
