THIS is the moment a brutal punch up breaks out in front of a little girl in a busy UK shopping centre on New Year’s Eve.
The brawl erupted in the Trafford Centre in Manchester as families watched on in horror.
Two men can be seen in footage of the vicious fight throwing punches at one another.
A little girl clinging to a man’s hand in the background of the footage looks terrified as the two thugs trade blows in front of her.
A group surrounds the brawling men as they swing punch after punch at each other.
Neither of the men let up and continue to smack each other as the little girl ends up almost underneath the pair.
The thugs pay no attention to their surroundings, almost stepping on top of bystanders as their fight wears on.
A woman can be seen in the footage with a pram, though it appears to be empty.
One of the men’s trousers falls as he takes several brutal punches to the face.
Moments later the two grab hold of each other and begin to wrestle before coming apart and posturing.
Suddenly they begin to smack each other again as people watch on, some filming.
People clear out of the two men’s paths as the brawl continues but no one makes an effort to stop the fight.
One of them then backs away and stands behind the young girl in an attempt to end the brawl.
His opponent doesn’t let up though and follows him, hands raised ready to throw more punches.
The chase continues until a member of staff from a nearby store comes out and begins demanding that the fight stop.
She can be seen putting her hand over the camera as people finally intervene and bring the fight to a close.
One of the two men appears to be bleeding from his face in the aftermath of the scrap.
Both were hit in the head several times by the other during the altercation.
It remains unclear what caused the violence to erupt.
So far, there have been no reports of anyone being seriously hurt during the violent altercation.
At one point during the vicious scrap one mans trousers fell down exposing him to the overlooking crowd.
Despite pulling down his jumper he did not think to pull the trousers up instead prioritising punching his opponent.
The video footage has been widely viewed online and many people have flocked to social media to share their disgust at the public brawl.
One user wrote: “It’s crazy how other men are just standing there and not diffusing the situation. Standing with their children is even crazier lol.”
Another added: “Behaving like this where women and children are present, despicable behaviour, yes we men need to sort things out from time to time but pick your time and place muppets.”
